Tower Pilates allows your body to move through a full range of motion, and exercises can be adapted for all ages, body sizes and different skill levels

Tower classes will work every part of your body. A mix of mat and machine based exercises, our classes include the open chain exercises that mat pilates is famous for, but allows you to do more challenging work with the guidance and support of springs.

  • Move vertically through space using the upright Tower to build strength and coordination.

    Enhance your mobility, flexibility and increase your strength with this unique piece of equipment.

    In the Beginner classes we will focus on the fundamental movements and re-visit the classic mat pilates repertoire with the added juiciness of the Tower.

    Using springs, roll back bar and push through bar, we are able to receive direct feedback and find stability through functional movement patterns.

    Tower Pilates will challenge you in so many different ways to the reformer. Whether you are a seasoned Pilates practitioner, or new to it, you are welcome to join our Tower classes. Expect to do ‘open-chain’ exercises meaning that you will learn to stabilise and control the 'pulling' aspect of the Tower rather than rely on the machine to support you - which happens in closed chain exercises like the majority of reformer exercises.

    **New to Tower? You must attend 5 beginners classes and be comfortable setting up the Tower before moving to our Intermediate level. In the intermediate classes expect to receive less cues from the teacher on the fundamentals as you are expected to understand how to stabilise and recruit certain muscles autonomously.

  • Give your body time to re-set and rejuvenate with our restorative classes.

    The springs used in Tower Pilates allow the body to work at a deeper level, which is supportive for those wanting a slower paced class, recovering from injury, elders, or something different from a usual paced class.

    **New to Tower? You must attend 5 Tower Beginners classes and be comfortable setting up the Tower before moving to our Intermediate Tower Class. In the intermediate classes expect to receive less cues from the teacher on the fundamentals as you are expected to understand how to stabilise and recruit certain muscles autonomously.
